WCS Level 1
This introductory class is geared toward beginners and dancers who want to focus on learning and improving their West Coast basics.
Here we will go over the 5 basics as well as extra variations, technique, and some musicality/styling.
This class is vital for those starting out from Level 0 and can be used to prepare you for the Level 2 class.
The 5 basics include:
Left-Side Pass
Right-Side Pass
Sugar-Push
Basic Whip
Starter-Step
WCS Level 2
This intermediate class will go a bit faster than level 1, and will emphasize the connection and partnering within the dance. You will learn more about the basics and their variations, as well as more complex patterns, technique, styling, and even improvisation!
*Level 1 knowledge is necessary to follow this course.
WCS Level 3
This is a more intermediate class where we focus on complex patterns and movement, styling, technique, and musicality. We will delve more deeply into experiences, ideas, creativity, and improvisation.
*Level 1 and 2 knowledge is necessary to follow this class.
*Level 3 registrants can choose to participate in the level 1+2 course as leaders.
